Instructions to make Dal chawal Arancini:
  1. First keep a cooker on stove, add water, rice and dal in it. After this add salt and ghee in it. Put the lid on cooker and cook at high flame until 3-4 whistles.
  2. Once done please check the rice and dal mixture should not have any water. Keep it aside to cool.
  3. When the mixture is cool, mash the mixture well. Then add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, roasted cumin powder, ginger-garlic-green chilies paste and hung curd, mix it well with hands like you make dough.
  4. After mashing the mixture, add chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves in the mixture. Mix it with the mixture again well.
  5. NOTE: THE DOUGH SHOULD BE TOGETHER WITH ALL INGREDIENTS, SO THAT IT DOESN’T SPILL OUT.
  6. For slurry: In a bowl add corn flour and water mix them well together. After mixing it, add salt, red choli powder and black pepper powder, mix it well.
  7. For breadcrumbs: In a mixer grinder, add bread slices and grind it in a powder form. Add salt, red chilli powder and black pepper as required by taste and mix it.
  8. So,all the three materials are ready, now make balls of the dal and rice mixture, add this ball in the corn flour slurry let it coat well over it and then coat the breadcrumbs over it well. Likewise make balls like this.
  9. In a pan, heat oil for frying thee balls. To check if the oil is hot or not add a small piece of the mixture. If it’s hot add the balls in the oil and deep fry it at high flame until it's golden brown.
