The ingredients needed to cook Farali Katori Chaat:
  1. Take for sago katori :
  2. Use 1/2 cup sago/ sabudana
  3. Provide 3-4 medium boiled potatoes
  4. Provide 1/4 cup roasted peanuts coarsely powdered
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp green chillies paste
  6. Take to taste Sendha namak
  7. Provide for Stuffing:
  8. Prepare some Fried potato cubes
  9. Get as required Fried peanuts
  10. Provide as required Dates/ Khajur sweet chutney
  11. Provide as required Whisk fresh curd
  12. Provide as required Farali potato Sev
  13. Get As required Pomegranate pearls
  14. Provide As required finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
Steps to make Farali Katori Chaat:
  1. Wash and soak sago/ sabudana overnight or 6-8 hours. In mixing bowl add soaked sago, peeled boiled potatoes, coarsely crushed roasted peanuts, sendha namak and mix well to make smooth dough from it., green chillies paste
  2. Take small stainless steel katori. Invert them. On it placed ball size mixture above prepared dough..press on it and give shape of katori as shown.
  3. Place this prepared katoris in hot oil, half fry for few minutes. Remove from flame. Cool little bit and separate sago/ sabudana katori from steel katori. Again deep fry these half fried sago katoris in hot oil on medium-slow flame till crispy golden.
  4. To assemble/ make Farali Katori Chaat.. Take 1or 2 fried sago katoris. Stuffed with fried potatoes cubes and peanuts. Sprinkle red chilli powder.(I had added salt in potato cubes at the time of frying).
  5. On it pour 1-2 tbsp of whisk fresh curd. On it sprinkle dates/ khajur chutney. Sprinkle farali potato sev, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate pearls. Similarly prepare all Farali Katori Chaat.
  6. Serve/ Relish Delicious Farali Katori Chaat immediately.
