The ingredients needed to make Arancini:
- Take 1 cup cooked rice
- Provide 1/2 cup boiled moong
- You need 4 cubes mozzarella
- Take 1 tsp ginger garlic chilli paste
- Take 1/2 tsp cumin
- Get 1/2 tsp asafoetida
- Use as per taste Salt, turmeric, chilli and coriander powder
- Use 2 tbsp corn flour
- Provide 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- Use some Oil for frying
Steps to make Arancini:
- In a pan take 1 tsp oil. Add cumin. Saute it and add asafoetida. Add moong and all spices.
- Cook until it's dry. Add rice. Mix thoroughly. Cool it.
- Make equal size portions out of it. Stuff balls with mozarella cubes. Add water to corn flour and make paste.
- Dip balls into corn flour pasre and roll in bread crumbs. Repeat this process twice. Make all balls ready.
- Fry it in hot oil at medium flame. Serve with tomato ketchup. As Indian twist along with tomato ketchup I served with fried khichiya papad and green chilli.
