The ingredients needed to cook Chana Masala:
- Use 2 cup Chana (chickpea) boiled
- Get 1 Onion
- You need 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- You need 3-4 Curry Leaves
- Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
- You need 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Provide 1 pinch Asafoetida
- You need 1 Tomato(paste)
- Use 3 tsp Oil
- Use 2 tsp red Chilli powder
- Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Use 1 tsp Tamarind paste
- Use 1 tsp Cumin powder
- Use 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Get 1/2 tsp Chana masala(used Everest)
- Use to taste Salt
Instructions to make Chana Masala:
- Heat the oil in pan on medium high flame, then tempered with seeds, add curry leaves. Then sauté onion, ginger and garlic paste.
- Add tomato paste and all the spices.
- Once it cooks well add boiled Chana and salt.
- Add 1 cup water and cook by covering lid. Serve with puri or Naan.
